Time for me to brag about our 11 year old beautiful niece Maddi!

She had her first ever dance comp last weekend in Logan! She did so so soo sooo so so so sooo so (get it) good! I was very proud of her! (still am)

Tracy sent me the link to see all the pics and I had to post some! She is so talented and loves dancing! Makes me miss it for sure!

RoyAl BliSs!!!!!

Last night Trav got a phone call from Tay....trying to get us to go out with him and Meg. Trav had to work today and well....so did I...but Trav was trying to be responsible and stay home and get to bed at normal decent time so he wasnt hating life all day today at work. Well needless to say he cant tell Tay no...he did tell him no but he cant stick to a No! Which I am completely ok with this time!!! They were going out to watch Royal Bliss play! We have both wanted to see them live since we have been together.....so I was joking around about how if Trav didnt go I was still going to (even tho I wouldnt really do that...but he did say I could) but we went and it was seriously one of the funnest nights EVER! Best night of 2011 for sure!
Royal Bliss is amazing live and puts on such a great show! I cant wait to go see them again!! Josh and Tracy even ended up coming out so it was all the siblings and it was such a great time! Tay and Trav kissed a lot...LOL weird I know, but its not weird with those two! Some of our moto buddies were there too so that made it even funner!
I wish I would have my camera with me because we took some great pics on Tay's phone but I dont have them! We didnt get home until about 1 AM and Trav was about at 5 AM for work and I came into work about noon and now its about time to go home and get the house cleaned and dinner started so we can get to bed early tonight!

One step forward!!!

I made a big step today and actaully logged into my account at Weber State. Trav has been trying to get me to commit to going back to school and I have had a hard time even thinking about it. But he is right and I need to at least just finish my associates degree and then I can go back and focus on nursing later if I still want to. But I definately need to get going again and make something of all the time and money that has already been spent! I studied hard and went to early college and gave myself a good start for the future and all of that came to a screaching halt! But now I am thinking if I can get myself motivated and get at least my General Associates then maybe I can focus on nursing and it will be easier now I am not wanting to party and go out all the time! I spend a lot of time at home and there is no reason I cant focus on school!
So if you read this...keep your fingers crossed for me and wish me luck!

Happy New Year

Its been a LONG time since I have posted anything on here. I guess I better clue the world into what has been going on since August.
I really dont know where to begin but I guess I will just do my best!
HOLIDAYS!!! So thankful that they are over, but they were really good! Thanksgiving with the Clifton's! Randy and Steph got to make use of their new beautiful home. Black Friday...well I ended up toughing the cold and going out for a bit at midnight! Old Navy and Walmart were my 2 only stops and it took way longer than I expected and was out of control! But I did get all the things I went for. So I was pretty much done with my Christmas shopping at that point in time! Woot woot!
Christmas was busy as usual but very nice! I always complain about Christmas being too busy and I am sure I always will, but this year I started my shopping early so the stress of money wasnt so big. Being able to spend the holidays with both of our families is so amazing! We are very lucky to have such great families both ours and the in laws! I always here people complaining about thier in laws and we just laugh because we are very lucky as far as that goes.
New Years was just New Years.....I am not going to say much about it because it wasnt the best of all but it is what it is and its over!
Now onto 2011!!!!
Love when the new year actually comes along and we can set all these goals for the new year to come and hopefully we can accomplish many of them!
Last weekend we took a mini vaca to Mesquite to visit my mom and Brent and there was also a race down there. It was a GREAT weekend! Much needed weekend away for both of us! Trav raced and kicked some butt in both of his classes!! 1st overall in 450 Pro and Over 25. The weather was amazing too! Sunny and high 50's the entire time! High 50's sound cold, but when we left it was only in the 20's here and when we stopped for dinner in Fillmore on the way down it was 0 degrees! So 50's was a heat wave!
We are hoping to be able to go back down in 2 more weeks for the next race as well!
We are also planning our yearly trip to Laughlin in February! Lots of fun things planned for this year!

Pow Mow MX 2010

Woot woot! The 2010 Powder Mtn MX was amazing again! Minus the crazy weather, it was such a nice get a way! We got a 10 person condo right at the mountain that we had chuck full of people and it was so much fun! We went up first thing Thursday morning for Practice and got up there and it was cold and windy....it pretty much rained all day long. It got so cloudy and bad that they stopped practicing at one point for awhile! The boys only went out and made 2 practice runs because the weather was so bad.

Friday was the day that everyone was racing for the most part! Travis, Josh, Garet, Rick, and then 2 other guys made up the Over 25 class! During the heat race Travis got 1st, Garet got 2nd, Josh ended up 4th and Rick 5th. During the final Garet and Trav raced each other and Trav was on his tail the entire race! It got super super close! Garet ended up taking it, Trav 2nd, Josh 3rd and Rick 4th! Half of our condo was out there for that moto! It was so much fun to watch those guys!

Randy raced Friday as well! I love watching those older guys race! They all just go out there to have fun and they all do!

Mike Wood also raced Friday!

We didnt do too much partying Friday night! Everyone was pretty wore out from racing all day!

Saturday, Dom was the only one who raced! He did really good considering this was only his 2nd race on the 450!

Saturday night was the FUN night! We BBQ'd steaks and such and all had a great time! Pictures to come below.....

Sunday Randy raced and ended up 3rd overall! The weather was crazy again Sunday! The whole weekend the wind blew, and it wasnt very warm at all....but it the sun was shining and we all had smiles on our faces!

It was a great weekend and none of our guys got hurt, minus Garet getting in a tif with a pine tree, but he ended up coming out on top of that one. A fat lip and bloody nose, but he was good to go!

So I just read Cheneil's blog she finally updated and she had some very good advice! To take time out of every single day for YOU! To do something that makes YOU happy! I love this idea and it seems like this summer has gone by way too fast and I dont really feel like I have even had a chance to enjoy it because we have been so busy every single weekend and every single day off we have had. But I am going to take to Cheneil's advice and take 5 to 10 minutes EVERY single day to do something for ME that will make ME happy!
So this is my challange to my other friends and family! Take to Cheneil's advice and do this simple task for Yourself!

Now onto what has been going on with our busy lives! Trav has been racing a lot! He went down a couple of time at the last race and had to replace a few minor parts on his bike to get it back in working order for last weekends race! He only was able to race on Sunday last weekend because one of my best friends Kami got married! It was such a beautiful wedding and turned out perfect! We had tons of fun at the wedding and Trav even gave up his racing Saturday for them! So I am thankful that he was willing to do that!
But Sunday he did race and he did awesome! He ended up 2nd overall for the day and he rode so good! It love watching him race and especially when he gets to ride with Derick and they can go out and play! They go over jumps at the same time and turn and look at each other and they just have so much fun with each other and it makes me so happy to watch him! I love that it brings him so much joy!
We are working on getting ready for the big Powder Mtn Race they are having again this year! It was such a success last year minus the tragic accident that occured on the last day when everyone was driving home...but this year I am hoping to have even a better year! Trav and Josh both races last year and did very good and this year we have rented a condo right up by the pits and we are staying up there for 3 nights! It should be a great PARTY and a great time! I cannot wait!
